Yum!! My boyfriend is a nerd fanatic lol so it was to no surprise he LIT up when he saw the nerd freeze option. I got the traditional vanilla soft serve dipped in cherry coating. My childhood craving. Great experience, love to support local good ice cream stores. Will definitely be back. Forgot to mention they had puppy freezes and of course my little guy LOVED it.

I love a local ice cream place with a fun atmosphere bustling late at night. This place really serves up small town vibes in a big city. I enjoyed their ice cream as it was way less sweet than big chain competitors. P.S. Try my secret menu item that's sure not to disappoint! You can make this version here or at any large chain that has similar erm...blizzard style beverages. Banana Freeze add extra cherry cone dip MIXED IN! So delicious.

Best soft serve in Chicago the line can be pretty long but it moves quickly. There's so much to choose from for a tiny space. I went with the chocolate vanilla swirl and sprinkles. It was tasty and not melting even though it was warm out. There's outdoor seating including benches and lawn chairs. A nice chill spot to people watch.

Came here after a dinner in the area and it was busy on a Thursday night!! I guess with the recent announcement that the owners are trying to sell the business people are flocking in to pay their respects (myself included). The line moves really quick, they absolutely sling ice cream and are a well oiled machine. I got the pistachio ice cream for myself, my SILs got some dipped cones, and my brother got a peanut butter concrete type thing. I personally thought my ice cream was just ok. Didn't really taste any pistachio flavor or what I'm used to with pistachio ice cream. Almost tasted kind of minty? Overall it was just ok. My brother's peanut butter ice cream thing was good though. There's outdoor seating pretty much surrounding the building so it's nice to just hang and chat. Also can just stand, who cares. Parking can be a bit tight here. You can try and park and pay in Armitage or roll the dice on some residential side streets. Overall, solid spot. I'm a Kurimu loyalist for my soft serve, but this one is solid if you're in the area. It does remind me of Dairy Star up north, though that you can also visit if you're closer to Evanston/Skokie.

It's so cool (no pun intended...or was it?) to have a retro spot like this in the heart of Logan Square. You wonder just how many old school places like this in cities exist anymore: Ted Drewes in St Louis, Leon's in Milwaukee, maybe just a scant few more. Is the ice cream as good as those aforementioned legendary spots? No, not really even close, though I do appreciate it being 97% fat free. But, you can get your gourmet, $8 a cup ice cream at many other places in this city, and many of them are well worth the price. You're here for a feeling, a little slice of what it might have been like to pull up to one of these while driving down Route 66 or being 10 years old and riding your bike with $3 in your pocket, just enough to enjoy a twist cone with sprinkles. A perfect way to cap any night of the summer!

Yes. Just yes. My kinda neighborhood ice cream shop! No frills and a pretty big menu. Cash only but they will take Apple Pay. Had no clue what I ordered but went off another Yelp review and got a "s'mores Boston malt" which is a sundae on top of a milkshake. My life was changed. Wish we lived closer!
